The Bengals are on the board over the Steelers.

Quarterback Jake Browning hit a tight end to Drew Sample with 10:30 left in the second quarter for the Bengals’ first points of the afternoon. The extra point gave the home team a 7-3 win over their division rivals from Pittsburgh.

The score was set up by wide receiver Ja Marr Chase’s impressive performance. Browning’s pass was deflected into the air, but Chase was able to track it down and turn the near miss into a 31-yard gain.

The Steelers opened with a field goal on the previous drive, but head coach Mike Tomlin fumbled the opportunity. He was not challenged. An apparently incorrect call on Diontae Johnson failing to catch a pass in the end zone in the first quarter.
