Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. has announced he will forgo remaining NCAA eligibility and enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

Trotter declared himself a pro on social media. Clemson will not play in the bowl game.

Trotter, 20, is a finalist for the Butus Award, which is the best linebacker in college football. Trotter is considered one of the best off-ball linebackers in the upcoming draft.

Trotter’s father was a third-round pick of the Eagles in 1998 in Philadelphia in three separate situations, as well as one in Washington and one during a 12-year NFL career.
