T2’s ‘A Christmas Carol’

Symphony in Stuttgart

Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and director Geoffrey Robson present traditional and pop Christmas tunes Saturday at 7 p.m. in Riceland Hall at Phillips Community College, Arkansas-Stuttgart Grand Prairie Center, 2807 US 165, Stuttgart. Four sax

Koller Saxophone Quartet. — John Kamin, soprano saxophone; Elissa Cana, alto saxophone; Greg Reiff, alto saxophone; and Dennis Kwok, baritone saxophone — will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Arkansas State University-Beebe Science Building Auditorium, 300 Peach St., Beebe. The program includes a passage to the Concerto in F Major by Antonio Vivaldi. “Introduction and Variations sur une ronde Populaire” by Gabriel Pierre; “The Unsettled Spirit” by John McKee; “Six Baguettes” by Giorgi Ligeti; “Ciudades” by Guillermo Lago; and “Suite Hellénique” by Pedro Ituralde. Art inspired by Paris

Paris Studio Experience Exhibition, Inspired by a summer study abroad class in Paris, he works at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Art and Design, Monday at the Anne Manners and Alex Pappas Gallery at the UALR Wingate Center for Art and Design, 2801 S. University Ave., Little Rock. Students with work in the exhibit include Olivia Bacot, Jason Bongfelt, Skylar Boone, Bailey Holly, Sunny Jenkins, Kate Lusk, George Mandujano, Christy Pruitt, Pamela Rodriguez, Lucio Tapia, Gabrielle Vernor, Annika Wade, and Lily Warren. The exhibition will last until December 13. A reception will be held at the Windgate Center on November 30th from 5-7pm. Admission is free. Air anniversary

Little Rock Public Radio – Stations KUAR-FM, 89.1, and KLRE-FM, 90.5 — will celebrate 50 years on the air, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, 601 Main St., Little Rock. The event will include a live taping of NPR’s “Code Switch” show at 6 p.m., and a silent auction, live music, local poets and a chance to meet NPR hosts.
