West Glacier KOA is celebrated

West Glacier KOA Resort Campground has received Founder’s and President’s Awards from Camp Plus of America, Inc.

These prestigious awards will be presented on Thursday, November 16 at Campgrans of America, Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The KOA Founder’s Award, named in honor of Dave Drumm, who founded KOA in Billings, Montana in 1962, is KOA’s highest service award. It is awarded only to KOA campground owners and managers who have achieved world-class ratings in both customer service and KOA quality reviews.

The KOA President’s Award is given to campgrounds that meet exceptional quality standards and receive high customer service scores from their campers. KOA surveys hundreds of thousands of campers each year about their KOA camping experience.

“Our campground owners and thousands of hard-working employees are vital to providing the superior level of hospitality that KOA guests expect, and it’s an honor to recognize this hard work,” said Toby O’Rourke, president and CEO of Campgrounds of America, Inc. Our President and Founder Awards are driven by camper feedback and an extensive annual review process. These award-winning KOA owners have made the right investments in their campsites and staff to provide the best outdoor experience in North America.
