The Major League Baseball season is here, and the oven is starting to heat up in the last week of November. MLB’s annual winter meetings are scheduled for next week, and a handful of top players have signed deals in recent days. So far, the rookie pitchers are in the process of agreeing to free agent deals with Aaron Nola, Sonny Gray and Kenta Mada. Nola stayed with the Phillies, while Gray and Field both left the Twins for new teams in 2024.

Big names on the market this summer are two-way outfielder Shohei Ohtani and incoming Japanese prospect Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who was listed for MLB consideration by the Oryx Buffaloes. Some other notables include NL Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell, outfielder Cody Bellinger and third baseman Matt Chapman. Check out our top 50 list, including a write-up on each player.
