Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhii Lysak said a five-story building was shot at in the southern city of Nikopol in the morning.

“A 63-year-old man was killed. Two women, 65 and 63 years old, were injured,” he said on Telegram Messenger.

Lissac later added that Russian troops attacked the drones and injured one more person. “Nikopol district suffered a dozen attacks in one day,” he added.

Three residential buildings, two industrial establishments, an administrative building and vehicles were damaged. Electricity lines and gas pipelines were also targeted.

Images shared by Lisak show the remains of a building under fire, broken windows and piles of construction debris.

In a separate attack in the afternoon, Russian bullets destroyed at least five private houses in the northern suburbs bordering Russia, Sumy regional prosecutors reported.

Two bodies were found in the wreckage, and a 7-year-old girl who was in the hospital died in an attack on a car, the prosecutor said in a telegram. Three people were injured.

Russian troops also used two guided aerial bombs in their attack on the eastern city of Toretsk.

“A one-story building was damaged at the mine site … four people survived the debris,” Ukraine’s Interior Ministry said in a telegram.

Russia claims that it has deliberately targeted civilians, despite repeated airstrikes that have killed many, which it denies.
