Mental and physical exercise will take place At 10:30 a.m. Thursdays at Aiken Senior Life Services, 1310 E. Pine Log Road, the fitness program uses a chair and addresses basic aging skills that include cognitive function, fall prevention, breathing, mobility and more. The price is 8 dollars per unit. Christmas is held in Millbrook 6-8pm Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9 at Millbrook Baptist Church, 223 S. Aiken Blvd. Attendees can enjoy photo booth opportunities and hot chocolate during a display of holiday lights and music. At 6:30 p.m., the Christmas story of Jesus’ birth will be told through music, drama and animals. This year’s theme is White Christmas.

It will be the Wagener Hometown Holiday Christmas Parade. Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Wagener. For more information or to register, call 803-564-3412.

Crossland Park neighborhood Christmas parade will be held Saturday 9th December 11am at Crosland Park. The parade will start at Crosland Drive and Somers Avenue, from Somers to Wyman Street to Aldrich Street to Alfred Street to Yates Street back to Crosland Drive. A Christmas concert featuring Christmas carols and classic songs will be held Saturday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. at Johnston Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2464 Columbia Highway N. The concert will feature the one and only Darren Prickett and Emily Irk and the Heine Brothers.
