JOLIET, IL – Joliet police have arrested three people in connection with the theft of an Illinois Marine tow truck from an important Jolt business to the trucking industry. Joliet Police learned Friday afternoon that a Ford F-550 had been stolen the night before.

The following people have been charged by Joliet Police in connection with the accident.

Michael Felker, 43, of Rockdale, was arrested on a report of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and released.

Edward Davis, 36, of Joliet, was arrested on a charge of methamphetamine and issued a notice to appear.

Brittany Dennis, 22, of Joliet, was cited and released on a charge of driving while license suspended.

On Friday at 2:05 p.m., officers learned of a stolen Ford truck from Illinois Marine Towing at 314 McDonough Street. From reviewing video surveillance, the car was taken by someone around 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

At 8:15 a.m. Friday, Joliet police were notified by Illinois Marine Tow that the stolen vehicle had been spotted on Joliet’s east side in the area of ​​Ward and Youngs streets. The driver stopped the stolen car and got into a Subaru with two other people.

A short time later, Will County sheriff’s deputies pulled over the Subaru near Fourth Avenue and Briggs Street. Joliet police arrived at the traffic stop and identified Felker as the man driving the stolen Illinois Marine tow truck.

The driver of the Subaru, Brittany Dennis, was cited and charged with driving while license suspended. Joliet Police say officers searched her car and found methamphetamine.

Both Felker and Davis were taken away in handcuffs, and the stolen truck was recovered to Illinois Marine Towing. The Subaru was towed from the traffic stop.
