Nine-year-old Ohad Munder was one of four children released from Hamas custody on Friday. He was released along with his mother and grandmother after 49 days of being kidnapped by Hamas, which was the first day of a planned four-day reconciliation and prisoner exchange.

Israel today released footage of a conversation between Munder and an Israeli Air Force (IAF) helicopter pilot.

In a 25-second video posted by the Israel Defense Forces on X, Munder can be heard asking the pilot, “Where are we flying?”

“We are flying to the hospital now,” said the female pilot.

Ohad was asked if he had been on a plane before and was heard to say, “Not on an Army one.”

While Ohad, his mother Karen, 54, and grandmother Ruth, 78, were all released.His grandfather, 78-year-old Avraham Munder, remains in exile in Gaza.

Among the 13 Israeli hostages freed by Hamas last Friday were two and four-year-old sisters and their mother, a five-year-old boy and her mother, and elderly women.

They were among the 240 people kidnapped by Hamas in their surprise attack on Israel on October 7.
