Where to dine in Las Vegas for Hanukkah

Here are dining ideas for Hanukkah between December 7th and 15th. This Jewish holiday commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the second century BCE.

Kitchen and wine bottle Green Valley Ranch offers specials on December 7, 4 to 11 p.m., December 8 and 9, 4 to 10 p.m. December 10 to 14 and December 15 from 4 to 11 p.m. Honey butter ($10), with smoked salmon ($15), beef on the side ($29) and chocolate babka bread pudding ($10).

Crushing MGM Grand offers roast beef short ribs with roasted cauliflower and butternut squash for $36 from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 7 through the 15th.

Donutic In Venice from December 7th to 15th, Hanukkah donuts will be sold in the shop. The donuts are Menorah Sprinkle (custard filling, chocolate glaze, seasonal sprinkles) for $7, Hanukkah Sprinkle (chocolate drizzle, crispy rice sprinkles) for $9, and Jelly Filled (strawberry jam, powdered sugar) for $5. The shop opens at 8 o’clock every day.

Marketplace buffet The JW Marriott Resort offers a selection of more than 12 Hanukkah dishes for its dinner buffet, Dec. 7 to 11 and Dec. 14 and 15 (buffet closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Additions include pickled herring, egg salad, noodle kugel, baked chicken with caramelized onions, beef stew and challah bread pudding.

Wexler’s Deli Aria Proper Eats is serving a Hanukkah Baller in the food hall — two lattes topped with lox, crème fraîche and onions — for $25 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 7 to 3 p.m. Add caviar for $10.

Slater’s 50/50 Bacon, Burger & Beer, 467 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd. and 7511 W. Lake Mead Blvd., is featuring the Thanksgiving Burger and Pumpkin Pie Milkshake through November. The burger is topped with a spicy turkey patty, brioche stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce and garlic-sage aïoli on a honey wheat bun. The shake combines vanilla ice cream, pumpkin puree, crushed graham crackers, whipped cream, caramel, cinnamon and a slice of pumpkin pie on top.

A burger, fries and pumpkin sauce is $17.99. The milkshake is $14.99.
